Halloween Special - Recipe - Mini Mummy Pizzas

Mini Mummy Pizzas

These mini mummy pizzas are quick to prepare, and make a perfect, tasty Halloween treat for children.

What you need:

• 300 g of pizza dough
• 50 g of sieved tomatoes (passata)
• 200 g of provolone cheese, sliced thinly
• 100 g of stoned black olives
• salt
• oil

How to make it:

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface until it is 3 mm thick (you can buy ready made pizza dough or make your own; there are loads of recipes on the internet).
Cut out discs with a round dough cutter and transfer them to a baking tray lined with a sheet of baking parchment.
Season the sieved tomatoes in a bowl with the salt, oil and – if you like – the oregano. Spread a layer of tomato on the pizzas and bake at 200°C.
While the pizzas are cooking, cut the provolone into thin strips and the olives into little rings. Once the pizzas have cooked for 10 minutes, remove them from the oven and “bandage them up” with the cheese, using the little olive rings to make the mummy’s eyes.
Return the pizzas to the oven for 5 minutes to finish cooking. They can be served immediately or left to cool.
