Halloween Special - Recipe - Mummy dogs

Mummy dogs
These mummy dogs are a sure-fire hit with the little ones. Not only are they a great crowd-pleaser, they are fun and so easy to prepare that even young children can help.
What you need:
• 24 hot dogs
• 3 sheets of puff pastry
• milk, as required
• mustard
• tomato ketchup
How to make it:
Roll out the sheets of puff pastry and cut them into thin strips.
Wrap each hot dog in a sheet of puff pasty, working along the sausage in a spiral and leaving a space for the face. Arrange the hot dogs on a baking tray lined with a sheet of baking parchment.
Brush the pastry with milk, then bake in a non-fan-assisted oven for 20 minutes at 180°C.
Remove from the oven when the pastry is nice and golden and leave to cool.
Draw eyes on the “mummies” with mustard and, if you like, use the ketchup to create a “bloody” effect.
